Manually Installing Sceneries¶
TVSD can also manage manually installed sceneries. But scenery folders should be in proper format. Under the installation directory.
- In order to install a scenery manually create a folder under installation directory with said sceneries
ICAOcode. Ex:LTBA. Then copy thesceneryandtexturefolders to here.

Important
After manually installing the scenery and running TVSD, scenery will be added at the end of the scenery list. It will be deactivated by default and have EXTERNAL | NO MANIFEST warning.

TVSD will add effects to add-on.xml only if said effects are in same directory with scenery folder. See Example Directory Structure.
Scenery Creators¶
- TVSD intelligently searches scenery archives for a
sceneryfolder. - As long as it is in same directory as
scenery, TVSD is also able to processtextureandeffect(oreffects) folders. - If there is no
sceneryfolder found, it will run the first*.exefile in the directory. - If non of the above is provided, after unpacking the archive, TVSD will open explorer window to archive contents for manual installation from user.
